A Nashville-based designer, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Summa Cum Laude graduate in Interior Design, Whitney received numerous awards within her interior design department in her college including “Best in Show” three years in a row. Working with a residential design firm for two years as a junior designer gives her wide-ranging knowledge in high-end residential home floor plans, furniture plans, overall design, staging, and color. Beyond her career, she possesses an inherent artistic eye that she also uses in her successful hyper-realistic charcoal drawings. This drawing skill has influenced her successes in the creative field by providing her an advantage when it comes to detail, proportion, composition, lighting, and focal points. She believes manipulating these assets will be able improve people’s lives by ease of use as well as influence their experiences and moods within the space.
When Whitney designs for her clients, she keeps in mind of the aesthetics’ timelessness. She believes that people should be able to easily adjust their home’s look throughout the years because of the many trends that are constantly changing. She insists upon having most furniture pieces that are neutral and that tailor to the individual’s taste no matter the current trend. That doesn’t mean she loves to add pops of color, texture, and patterns. In fact, as part of her mission, she believes that introducing a focal point to any room adds a necessary drama and completeness. She has a tremendous amount of understanding of art and design, and she is excited to offer her skills to people who want to transform their space to fit their needs and personality.
