Becky received her BFA in Interior Design from Iowa State University. While in school, she worked for an architecture firm in Rochester, Minnesota, remodeling several wings of multiple buildings of the Mayo Clinic. After graduating, Becky immediately joined the team at a high-end, residential design + build firm in West Des Moines, IA where she quickly worked her way up to lead interior designer. In early 2016, Becky left the 9-5 world to follow her dream of starting her own small interior design business. She is an active member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), currently serving as the local chapter Student Advisor, helping students at her Alma Mater find their way in the design world. Becky intends to continue working closely with Iowa State University students as much as possible, as she credits so much of her success to those who have mentored her.
Inspired by the possibilities of interior design since the young age of seven, Becky never gets tired of discovering more. When she’s not at work, she’s watching her favorite design shows, reading design blogs, or creating her own hypothetical designs, just for fun. Some other hobbies include painting, reading, and keeping up-to-date with the latest episodes of her favorite shows. Becky is passionate about tailoring her creations to a specific person, couple, or family's needs and will always take the time to understand her client's aesthetic style as well as their lifestyle before delving in. With a "business casual" attitude, she likes to keep things professional yet comfortable, always welcoming questions, comments, concerns and feedback.
