Must Follow Interior Design Instagrams from Our Seattle Showhouse
We recently partnered with ATGStores to put on the Seattle Showhouse; 8 rooms, 8 designers and one amazing outcome. The showhouse really brought our online interior design process to life as each room was 100% virtually desiged and used amazing furniture and accessories from ATGStores.
One of the best things about the Showhouse is seeing it through the eyes of some of our most stylish friends. These Instagrams really captured the event. Here are a few of our faves:
Julia Millay Walsh - MyDomaine
Editorial Director @MyDomaine
Julia is a major influencer in the home design space and the Editorial Director of one of our go-to sites for design inspiration, MyDomaine, so when she made the trip from her home in LA to Seattle we were thrilled. She really captured the essence of our VIP cocktail party with this post, and yes the view is #notbad.
Angela Tafoya - Refinery29
West Coast Lifestyle Editor @Refinery29
Angela is a new mama and the West Coast Lifestyle Editor at the Refinery29. Her feed is the ultimate stylish working mom feed and as a new mom she zoomed in on the cozy girls room bed.
Erin Hiemstra - Apartment 34
Erin’s Apartment34 is pure eye candy. She has a way with her camera and her instagram is a daily source of inspo for our design team. So when she posted that our showhouse kitchen designed by our own Ashley Redmond was color palette perfection we took that as the ultimate compliment!
Brian Paquette - Brian Paquette Interiors
When we partnered with ATGStores.com on the Seattle ShowHouse, the first person we called was Brian. His design aesthetic was the perfect match for us, and when he said yes, we were on cloud nine. Can you say major design crush? We think he is one of the greatest design talents around. His feed was just featured in Dwell Magazine as a must-follow. Check.
Joanna Linberg - Sunset Magazine
Joanna is the Home Editor for Sunset and her feed is pure in-the-know west coast inspiration. She perfectly captured the view in this kitchen shot and yes we’ll do the dishes here.
Kyla Herbes - House Of Hipsters
We first met Kyla last year when we virtually designed her guest bedroom. Kyla became online BFF’s with her Decorist Designer Ashley Redmond so we were thrilled that she traveled from her home in Chicago to Seattle to meet our team in person. Kyla’s a photographer, creative director and the queen of #foundforaged and #ihavethisthingwithpink so her feed is a daily treat.
Joanna Hawley - Jojotastic
With a background in textiles and an obsession for sharing Joanna’s site Jojotastic is the the perfect stop for anyone living stylishing without breaking the bank. We were thrilled that she was crushing hard on our chair+pouf+rug combo.
Ellie Lillstrom - Apartment Therapy
Editorial Photographer @apartmenttherapy
As the editorial photographer for sites like Apartment Therapy, Ellie’s Instagram is full of designer gems and we are so glad she got out of bed at 8am Saturday morning for us.
Paloma Contreras - La Dolce Vita
Paloma Contreras’s ultra hip Fret Sketch wallpaper for Guildery was an inspiration behind Pulp Design Studios home office design. Of course, we were thrilled when the glamorous office was featured on Paloma's own La Dolce Vita feed.
Cassandra Lavalle - Coco + Kelley
When we needed a little styling help for the showhouse we knew exactly who to call. Cassandra jumped right in and styled up a storm and we’re so glad she did. Her feed and site, Coco+ Kelley are a lifestyle styling must and her birds eye view of Brian’s living room was spot on
Anne Sage - City Sage
As the Co-founder of Rue Magazine, Anne is on the forefront of interior styling. In fact we hosted a book launch party for Anne’s new book, Sage Living in our new offices last fall. Anne’s instagram feed is light filled and she perfectly captured Brian’s living room in this shot... and you’re right Anne, Brian is EVERYTHING!
Melaine Thompson - My Sweet Savannah
Melaine has a real eye for the details as an interior stylist and blogger. We love this shot she took of the modern ATGStores.com light fixture in the kitchen designed by Ashley Redmond.
Beth Dotolo & Carolina Gentry - Pulp Design Studios
These ladies are a blast to work with! PulpDesigns is on our Decorist Elite Design team and they were thrilled to virtually design the showhouse office. Their home office was one of the most photographed spaces in the showhouse. And you can see why. It's gorgeous!
Julie Kleiner - Massucco Warner Miller
Massucco Warner Miller can be found fearlessly designing in House Beautiful, Traditional Home and now on the Celebrity Designer team at Decorist. Their colorful family room was a Seattle crowd pleaser. We were so lucky to have them as part of the showhouse.
Portia Smith - Obsessed by Portia
We met Portia in Seattle and have enjoyed her daily insta posts ever since.
Jen Ament - Seattle Artist
One of the best parts about designing the Seattle Showhouse was meeting the talented local artists that shared their work with us. Jen’s paintings really gave our designs soul and her painting was the lucky Nellie, front and center in Brian’s living room
Kelly Johnston - Seattle Artist
Kelly is a local painter and her work was the perfect complement to our designer’s rooms. Here’s a behind the scenes look at our Decorist team installing her piece in the home office
Abnormals Anonymous - Seattle Wallpaper
Wallpaper is in and this boutique wallpaper designer is fun, curious and inspired. Their wallpaper was the belle of this tween’s girls room designed by Decorist Designer Katja O’Brien
